Punjabi language may be neglected in Punjab but it is popular among non Punjabis who migrate ted from other states. Panditrao Dharennavar, assistant Professor PG Govt College Chandigah carried cycale yatra in Yamunanagar to explain the holiness of the language among youth of Bihar and UP who are daily laborers in Yamunananagar. Panditrao also explained them the meaning of Gurupurab. He explained to migrants about Sri Jap Ji Saheb. Panditrao later said Haryanavi language which has no script needs to give prime importance to the language and literature
