Holy Gift to Governor of Punjab by Kannadiga

                            The holy gift  of Zafaranama and Sri Jap Ji  Saheb  in Kannada was given to His Excellency Shivaraj Patil by Pandit Rao Dharennavar. The translated  "Zafaranama" and Sri Jap Ji  Saheb  was delivered to Governor who is well verse with Kannada language.   His Excellency  Shivraj Patil who is literary person himself has knowledge of 6 languages and penned dozen of books.  He was happy to receive  holy gift.   It is for the first time that  the holy Sri Jap Ji Saheb and Zafaranama were being translated into Kannada by Pandit Rao Dharennavar who is from Karnataka but he has learnt Punjabi so well that he has written 8 books in Punjabi till now. He has been working to promote Punjabi language  with traveling in villages by cycle.  He also plays Ekangi natak   to spread  the importance of  mother tong. He has plan to conduct  Kannada -Punjabi  literary festival in coming days  so that people of south and north come together to build strong united India.He  is so much influenced by Punjabi language that he is teaching Punjabi to non Punjabi people in Chandigarh and surrounding areas. He is presently working as assistant Professor in Govt College, sector 46  Chandigarh but originally he is from small village Shirashyad of Bijpaur District  in Karanataka.
                         He has so far translated  Zafaranama, Sri Jap Ji Saheb and Sri Sukhmani Saheb into Kannada.. Pandit Rao Dharennavar is presently working on translation of Holy Sri Gurugranth Saheb into Kannada. About his work he says " It is God who is making me to do this holy work, I will complete the assignment given by God to me ". His Excellency  Shivraj  Patil all praise for his work. His Excellency  Shivraj Patil gave his 2 volume  books  "The Dasbodh of Ramdas Swami" to Pandit Rao Dharennavar to tranlste into Kannada and Punjabi. He tendered all cooperation for his work.
