Panditrao Dharennavar's Cycle Yatra reaches Nabha and requests newly married couple not to play vulgar songs in marriage part
Panditrao Dharennavar who is carrying cycle yatra all over Punjab, today reached Nabha near Patiyala. He has been requesting newly married couple not to play vulgar songs in their marriage party. On the way to Patiyala, Panditrao stoped at "Chahal Farms" near Nabha where Mr marriage was going on. Panditrao requested Mr not to play vulgar songs in the marriage. Accepting the request, Mr immedilty ordered his DJ party not to play any kind of vulgar songs.It was happy movement for all those who attended the marriage party when there was not a single vulgar songs was being played. Panditrao said " Punjabi Government's decision to ban vulgar songs in state Buses, is welcome step but there is urgent need to ban vulgar songs in Marriage party because it is holy movement of life for the newly married couple but it is sad that vulgar songs are being played. Panditrao said "Punjabi is holy language, but few money minded singers are producing alcoholic and vulgar songs which are corrupting young minds in Punjab therefore urgent steps need to be taked by the Punjab Government.
Panditrao Dharennavar is originally from Karnataka but now he is in teaching Sociology in Government college sector.46 Chandigarh. He has learned Punjabi and has written 8 books in Punjabi. He has also translated Sri Jap Ji Saheb, Sri Sukhmani Saheb and Zafaranama into Kannada language.
